To ensure the best experience for everyone, we kindly ask that you review our policies

before booking.

 

By booking with us. you agree to comply with our policies, which help protect our

business and provide a safe environment for all. Thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to see you soon!

Cancellations & Rescheduling

No cancellations or rescheduling allowed within 48 hours of your appointment. this will result in your booking deposit being forfeited. (This is salon business hours, Mondays and Sundays are not business days for us so please keep this in mind). 

 

Should you call in sick on the day of your appointment your deposit will be held on file for your next rebooking. If you are unable to attend you are able to send someone else in your place. 

 

Please keep in mind when booking an appointment that BHL is an appointment-based business, so not giving us a reasonable amount of time to fill your appointment will result in a significant loss for our business. Whilst we understand that you may have a valid reason to reschedule last minute, please understand we also have business costs to cover. We want to be able to continue taking care of all your haircare needs and unfortunately due to a high amount of last minute reschedules, cancellations and no shows we now have to put strict policies in place. These policies also enable us to offer otherwise unavailable times to other clients with enough notice.

 

Less than 48 hours notice will result in the full appointment cost being payable, plus a booking deposit for the next appointment. If you wish to rebook with us though, all booking deposit are non-refundable, if you need to reschedule your booking fee can be applied to a new booking provided 48 hours notice or more has been given.

Scheduling

When booking an appointment at BHL, you will be required to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit of your initial booking cost via our online booking system or a reminder and invoice will sent one week before your appointment if a deposit has not already been paid.

 

This amount will then be deducted from the total amount due at your appointment. If we have not received your deposit within 5 days of your appointment, we will assume that you no longer wish to attend and your appointment we be forfeited. Please note appointments are not confirmed until your booking deposit has been received.

No Shows

Failing to attend your appointment will result in the full service amount being payable before we will re-book you. Failing to not attend two or more appointments without notice will result in all future appointments being paid in full before you will be able to book with us again.

 

If you are more than 15 mins late for the start of your appointment you will be marked as a no-show and your deposit will be forfeited.

 

Please keep in mind when making an appointment that BHL is an appointment based business, so not giving us a reasonable amount of time to fill your appointment with another guest to failing to attend your appointment will result in a significant loss for our business. The deposits we take at the time of booking and our cancellation fees have been put in place to ensure we can keep creating beautiful hair day in, day out!

How to reschedule

If you do need to make changes to your appointment, you can do so as follows.

 

Call our salon on 0407 000 093. Do not use any of our social media platforms, text message or email, unfortunately, messages do not always make it through. Please call to ensure your appointment is moved in the appropriate time so your booking deposit can be moved to your rescheduled appointment.

 

You can also login to your GetTimely account via the link sent with your deposit invoice or by clicking on the link in our instagram bio.

No Children

Unfortunately here at Bohemia Hair Lounge, we are a child free salon. Vists to the salon are your time, it’s time out to relax and enjoy being pampered.

 

Other reasons we don't allow children to come along:

 

Our space is only small and can already get rather crowded so we simply just don't have the space.

 

Our table situated at the front of the salon is our colour waiting table and isn't big enough to share with waiting children.

 

 

Often parents need to stop to attend to children, which can cause our stylist to run over time. It is also simply not a safe place for children to be running around.
